Privacy
What data Exile Assistant handles, why, and for how long.
In short
The program does not collect your name, e-mail address, game-account data, passwords or personal files. It does not read the game’s memory and does not send anything about your games or your computer’s contents.
Licence
To create and check a licence, the program sends the licence server:
- irreversible hashes (one-way fingerprints) of the hardware and of the Windows or Linux user account — the original values cannot be recovered from them;
- a random device ID and the device’s public key, created by the program;
- the licence key you enter and technical request data (time, request ID, signature).
This is technical information about the device: it contains no name, e-mail, game-account data or files. The server stores the device ID, the hashes, the licence term and status, and the history of licence checks. This is needed to bind the licence to one device, to detect copies of a licence and to restore access after a reinstall.
Game files and updates
When installing a feature, the program sends the version (Steam build) of the game and hashes of the selected package and plan, so the server can confirm that the package matches your game. The program checks for program updates and for new feature sets for your game version. No list of your files is sent.
IP address
Requests reach the server through Cloudflare. The server uses the IP address only to limit too frequent requests and does not store it in the licence database. Cloudflare, as the network and hosting provider of the site and the server, processes technical connection data under its own privacy policy.
Survey
The anonymous survey on this site stores only your answers and the date — no name, e-mail, IP address or cookie. The answers are kept in Cloudflare (D1) and are read only by the owner to improve the explanations on the site.
Website
The site uses no analytics, no counters and no advertising and sets no cookies. Fonts, scripts and images are served from the site itself.
Diagnostics
A diagnostics file is created only when you press the button in the program and is sent only if you send it yourself. It contains the program’s recent events and the reasons of licence checks, without IDs, keys or tokens.
Messages and purchases
If you write to us by e-mail, Telegram or Discord, for example to buy or transfer a licence, we see your messages and the name or nickname of your account. They are used only to answer you and to handle the licence.
Retention
Licence data are kept while the licence is active and for 12 months after it expires or is revoked, and are then deleted.
Deleting your data
You can ask in writing to delete your data: send the request to admin@exileassistant.com or in Telegram and include your device ID (shown on the Licence page of the program). Deletion is done manually. After deletion the licence on that device stops working.
Third parties
We do not sell or share your data. Apart from Cloudflare as the infrastructure provider, nobody else receives it.
